Nikolas is a junior at the University of Delaware in Newark, working towards completing a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture and Natural Resources. He anticipates graduating in May of 2025.
Nikolas is looking for a summer internship in 2024 within the Delmarva region in fields related to Soil Health, Stormwater Runoff, the Environment, and/or Natural Resources. In his career, he aims to use Geographic Information System (GIS) technology for environmental protection. Nikolas has a basic level of GIS experience and is actively taking classes to enhance his skills. Additionally, he has a strong foundation in Environmental Forensics, Wildlife Policy, Water and Society, Conservation & Ecology, Crop Science, and Sustainable Development.
Nikolas previously interned for the United States Fish and Wildlife Services in Annapolis, MD, where he discovered his passion for hands-on work with nature and the environment. He has excellent communication skills, is a proficient problem solver, demonstrates vital leadership attributes, and can adapt quickly to new situations.
