Meet Kevin Beres, Senior Search Consultant at CSP
Kevin joined Chesapeake Search Partners in March 2026 as a Senior Search Consultant, specializing in construction, engineering, and manufacturing. He brings a communication-first mindset to his work, focusing on building strong relationships and aligning clients and candidates. “I focus on maintaining open communication so everyone understands where they stand and what to expect,” Kevin shares.
Before joining CSP, Kevin spent his career in sales, where he developed a strong foundation in relationship management and client engagement. His transition into recruiting was shaped by his experience as a job seeker, during which he saw firsthand how a lack of communication could affect the process. “Going through that frustration showed me how much better the experience could be,” he explains. That perspective now drives his approach to every search.
In his current role, Kevin partners closely with clients by providing real-time market insights and maintaining an honest, ongoing dialogue. He focuses on helping clients stay aligned and make informed decisions throughout the search process. With candidates, he prioritizes transparency and consistent updates, ensuring they have a clear understanding of feedback and where they stand at each stage.
Since joining CSP, Kevin has been energized by the firm’s collaborative culture. He values the team’s shared approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement, where successes and challenges are openly discussed to strengthen outcomes across the board.
Originally from Baltimore, Kevin now lives in Parkville with his family. He graduated from Towson University with a degree in Business Administration and Marketing. Outside of work, he enjoys refereeing soccer, golfing, attending Orioles and Ravens games, and spending time outdoors with his kids. He recently purchased a home in Parkville and is looking forward to taking on renovation projects.
For Kevin, success is defined by impact. “Helping a candidate land their dream job is what success looks like to me,” he says.
