Meet Nevin, a student at American University in Washington, D.C. He is pursuing a Bachelor’s and Master’s of Science degree in Finance and Analytics, and is expected to graduate in December 2024.
Nevin is searching for an internship in Washington D.C. or surrounding areas for the Spring or Summer of 2024. He is interested in working in the fields of Asset Management, Investments, Private Equity, Finance, and Real Estate. Nevin has completed several relevant courses such as Financial Modeling, Mortgage Finance, Investment Analysis, Derivative Securities, Business Analytics, and Corporate Finance, which have equipped him with the necessary skills to excel in the finance industry. Additionally, Nevin is certified in Bloomberg Professional Services and Microsoft PowerPoint, which has enabled him to gain extensive knowledge in using these terminals properly, evaluating financial information, and analyzing various companies.
Nevin is a dedicated and hardworking student-athlete on the Division 1 Men’s Soccer team. He has been to the championship three times in his career, showcasing his drive for personal success. He has demonstrated his commitment to both his team and his studies, and he is eager to bring the same level of dedication to his future internship. Nevin is also an active member of American’s Student Managed Investment Fund and Real Estate Investment Trust, as well as the Kogod Private Equity & Venture Capital Club. His other skills include financial modeling, leadership, and teamwork.
