Rick Fribush is a founding partner of Chesapeake Search Partners and leads the firm’s Accounting & Finance searches, overseeing both direct-hire and contractual placements across the industry. With more than 30 years of recruiting experience and a professional background rooted in both public and corporate accounting as a CPA, Rick brings a deep understanding of the accounting and finance landscape and the evolving talent needs within the market.

Rick began his recruiting career in 1993 with The Mergis Group before later leading the Accounting & Finance division at Stephen James Associates. Recognizing the need for a dedicated recruiting partner in the Baltimore/DC market, he co-founded Chesapeake Search Partners alongside Johnny Black and John Geraghty. Today, he partners with organizations of all sizes to identify and hire top talent at all levels of Accounting & Finance, while also serving as a trusted advisor to professionals navigating career growth, leadership opportunities, and key transition points.

Known for his relationship-driven, consultative approach, Rick works closely with both clients and candidates to build long-term professional relationships and create successful, lasting placements. He emphasizes trust, communication, and personalized guidance throughout the hiring process and is passionate about mentoring both candidates and clients as they advance in their careers.

A Baltimore native and graduate of Towson University with a degree in Accounting, Rick remains deeply connected to the local business community and actively engages in initiatives that strengthen his understanding of the Baltimore and Washington, D.C. job markets.
