ASSISTANT DIRECTOR

Position Summary

The Assistant Director (AD) is a challenging and rewarding opportunity at CSP, providing the first significant step in a leadership role with the firm to include strategic planning and peer (Search Consultant) supervision and development. The AD position allows for close partnership and collaboration with fellow team members and clients. The role provides a balance of organizational support while offering a large degree of autonomy related to search projects, client relationships, and peer development.

In addition to helping lead an individual practice, the incumbent will be involved in the search process from beginning to end. Overall responsibilities include: consistently gathering leads and cultivating new business for all practices, collaborating with clients to ensure agreed-upon qualification criteria for candidates during intake meetings, posting jobs and content that reflect our brand on career pages, job boards, and social media while engaging prospective candidates, sourcing and screening potential candidates, growing your professional network, and growing the CSP brand through various platforms.

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Day-to-day management of team and search projects.
  • Organize, update, and maintain candidates’ data (i.e., resumes, availability, and contact details) in internal databases.
  • Build and maintain relationships with candidates to ensure the best opportunities for CSP to place them.
  • Effectively manage and lead client relationships, including consistent client updates and portfolio management.
  • Actively identify and engage in strategic partner relationships with current and potential clients.
  • Create talent pipelines with high-potential candidates for current and future job opportunities.
  • Promote the CSP Brand and the respective practice online and offline.
  • Participate in networking and practice-specific events.
  • Special projects as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Proven work experience as a Staffing Agency Recruiter, Corporate Recruiter or similar role.
  • Experience with various interview formats, including phone screening calls, in-person interviews, and panel interviews.
  • Business development experience is highly preferred.
  • 2+ years of management experience.
  • Proficiency in MS Suite of tools, Sharepoint, 365, etc.
  • Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems and resume databases.
  • Experience using professional social networks (i.e., LinkedIn).
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and complete projects within deadlines.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, diverse team environment.
  • Enthusiasm to network and communicate with others.
  • Hustle, tenacity, and determination to succeed while helping grow the CSP brand.
  • Previous sales/recruiting experience is required.
  • Experience working in a performance-driven environment.
